A Late at Night Pantoum
(so what is a pantoum, you ask)

Everyone thinks that I'm asleep
all comfy and cozy in my bed;
with my blankets around me in a heap,
and dreams running through my head.

All comfy and cozy in my bed,
I'm staying up for the night.
I have more than dreams running through my head
and I've got a small flashlight.

No one knows I'm staying up all night-
I have a wonderful hunger to feed;
crouched under the covers with my small flashlight
and a brand new book to read.

I have a wonderful hunger to feed
with my blankets around me in a heap.
Lying here with my brand new book to read
while everyone thinks I'm asleep.
