My Favorite Recipe to Cook
My favorite recipe to cook
is one you won't find in a book-
hot or cold it's is best I am told
if you make it just like this:
bing cherries, black berries, parrots, crows and old canaries;
french fries, fire flies, one of daddy's ugly ties;
bike wheels, banana peels, high heels, electric eels;
blue jeans, computer screens, some navy and some pinto beans;
tin foil, motor oil, some beach sand and top soil;
two eggs, frog's legs, a little pinch of nut-meg;
soda pop, ragmop, a wind up toy that won't stop;
bumble bees, exotic teas, some parsley and some cottage cheese;
green tomatoes, sweet potatoes, some orange and some purple leggos;
candy wrappers, finger snappers, knee-slapping hand clappers;
crispy toast, scary ghosts, the left overs from old pot roasts;
fish tails, french snails, some old thumb tacks and carpet nails.
Mix it with a serving spoon and pour it in a red ballon;
bake it for a day or two, let it cool and when you're through,
cover it with macaroni and little bits of old baloney.
Call everyone to eat and then
they will never make you cook
again.
